About Poppy...

A beguiling beauty with a sultry voice, Poppy is well known to theatre goers in lead roles such as Tess and Cosette. Having starred in the smash hit musical Mary Poppins in London, she then starred as Eliza in My Fair Lady in Denmark and Malaysia.

In between her busy theatre schedule she is also working on her self-penned debut album, ‘Unlock Me’.

But do not expect her album to be sugary - anything but. She is like a cross between Lisa Stansfield, Shakira and Alanis Morissette and her favourite band is the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Born in the East End of London where she still lives, Poppy trained at Italia Conti (London) and TVI studios, Los Angeles. She is a trained singer and a dancer and has appeared in numerous musicals and theatre.

Osman first discovered her contemporary music talents during a theatre project some years ago. Few years later, when Songphonic was formed Osman called her up to do a few demos and the two have been working together ever since – Poppy’s schedule permitting.

She also appeared (in a small role) in the latest Batman movie - Batman Begins.
